René Alexander Wessels has grown up near by Diepholz.  After finishing school in Vechta, he passed a commercial apprenticeship at a medium-sized company for foreign trade in the raw material industry in Bremen. Afterwards, he completed economic studies at the University of Oldenburg. During his studies, Mr. Wessels already started working in human resources.

From 2010 to 2014, he worked in a personnel service agency in Hamburg and placed experts and executives at concerns as well as at medium-sized companies in the metropolitan region of Hamburg.

Since July 2014, Mr. Wessels belongs to the consultant team of Dr. Schwerdtfeger HR Consult. He is responsible for the northwestern part of Germany and advises clients in filling experts and executives positions.

Mr. Wessels is married and father of two children. He is interested in popular music and different sports and is active in a regional economic business club.
